Based in the Hartford/Northwich area in Cheshire, I have over ten years experience in instrumental (beginners to advanced) and academic (GCSE to degree level) music teaching. I teach french horn, piano, trumpet and cornet. I am able to tutor in GCSE and A-level music; my speciality being composition (the subject of my Ph.D at the University of Manchester).

Hartford next to Northwich and is close to Whitegate, Weaverham, Cuddington, Stretton, Appleton, Gorstage, Plumley and Barnton.
About Me
I grew up in Cheshire before taking up studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and the University of Manchester, specialising in French Horn performance and composition. I received my doctorate in composition (studying with the composer, John Casken) in 2007. My recent composition “On Eagles’ Wings” for solo piano was performed in March at the University of Manchester.
